After beginning his career in mixed practice and specialising in small ruminant work, he stepped away from clinical work after a serious car accident but went on to set up a veterinary consultancy, offering CPD training for vets and students alongside The Webinar Vet and Vet Times. He is also a mental health first aider and trustee of regional rural mental health charity You Are Not Alone (YANA), deputy rotation lead for the new RVC poultry rotation, and is co-lead of his practice鈥檚 green group.
