The Electoral College

The Electoral College is the body of electors that assesses nominations and formally selects members for election to officer status.

Judy Scrine

An equine vet by vocation since the age of 3, and having been in clinical practice since 1991, Judy has recently had to step away from her equine clinical director role due to injury. Now with the opportunity to dedicate herself to more philanthropic roles within the profession, Judy is passionate about addressing the retention and recruitment issues currently being faced, as well as the effect adverse social media has on members of the profession. With over two decades in a leadership role, Judy very much enjoys mentorship, education, charity and committee roles, and enabling and inspiring people to be the best that they can be.

鈥淚 embrace the opportunity to be involved with the election process; picking the right people to help shape the future of the profession and support its members.鈥�

Kate Sharpe

Kate is a consultant epidemiologist, having spent many years at APHA as a Field Veterinary Adviser, Divisional Veterinary Manager and later Head of Research and Field Epidemiology. She became Head of Scanning Surveillance before a move to the Home Office to become an Inspector under the Animals (Science Procedures) Act.

Throughout her veterinary and civil service career, Kate has seen how people grow and develop their skills through their life and work experiences. Her recent experience on the 娛樂城遊戲 Appointments Committee and the 娛樂城遊戲 Nominations and Awards Group has given her the opportunity to play a key role in identifying the best candidates for a variety of 娛樂城遊戲 roles.

鈥淚 have been impressed by the integrity of the 娛樂城遊戲 selection process and would like to continue to develop this as a member of the Electoral College.鈥�

Alice Watson

Alice is a small animal vet from Norfolk. Since qualifying from the University of Nottingham in 2017 she has worked predominantly in large first opinion hospital work developing her skills as a general practitioner as well as completing her CertAVP in Emergency and Critical Care.

As a member of the 娛樂城遊戲鈥檚 Member Benefits and Events Committee, working alongside other 娛樂城遊戲 volunteers and with 娛樂城遊戲 Officers, Alice has built her understanding of the attributes needed for a strong and effective 娛樂城遊戲 Officer team.

鈥淚 am looking forward to assisting in ensuring the interests of the profession and 娛樂城遊戲 members are met when choosing new officers.鈥�
